Ben Anderson is the President of the Prescott Park Arts Festival which produces over 80 summer concerts, theatre and film events to nearly 250,000 people. A Nova Scotia native, Ben presents a variety of Canadian acts throughout each performance season, and recently created the Up, Down & Away Festival that solely features Canadian musicians. Alongside the Festival, he runs his own 100-seat venue, The Word Barn, and company, Bright & Lyon Productions, producing concerts and overseeing a variety of multi-arts production projects including the creation of four performance venues and one theatre. He is the recipient of a NH Business in the Arts Award, NH Governor’s Arts Award for Distinguished Arts Leadership, and Seacoast Young Professionals Top 10 To Watch.

Killer B Music has been booking and event managing festivals, events, venues and parties for over 12 years, our portfolio of festivals has included: Hop Farm Music Festival, FIB Benicassim, The Mighty Boosh Festival, Costa de Fuego, Black Deer, Wood Festival, The Cambridge Folk Festival, Desertfest, Wheels and Fins, Zoo Project UK, The Brick Lane Takeover, The Magic Loungeabout, Synergy Live, Parklife (South Africa), Roko Nakyts, Bliuzo Naktys and Galapagai (Lithuania). Terri Dollar has served as the Program Director for Artsplosure for the past 20 years. The prestigious award-winning festivals she produces bring over 150,000 people to downtown Raleigh, North Carolina each year. With a finger on the pulse of her audience, Terri is a creative and passionate arts leader who enthusiastically presents all genres of music and art. Artsplosure is celebrating 39 years as one of the leading arts festival organizations in the Southeastern US.
With a career in the entertainment industry spanning over 25 years, Terri serves as a consultant and board member to a number of other festivals, special events, and arts organizations. She is also the owner of Actors Unlimited Talent agency that represents over 300 working actors in film and television. Terri is especially passionate about introducing and presenting amazing East Coast musicians to her North Carolina audiences.

Lizzie Evans is the director and founder of EvansAbove PR; an innovative music and entertainment company that specialises in national, regional and online PR in the UK. The company provides promotional services for an eclectic mix of signed and unsigned artists/bands, single and album releases, tours, live events and festivals.
With unrivalled enthusiasm and a passion for live music, Lizzie and her team have built strong relationships with record labels, management teams and the artists she works for in the UK as well as Canada the US, Sweden and Denmark. EvansAbove’s client base ranges from Alt-Country, Roots and Blues to Indie, Folk and Soul. EvansAbove PR has helped launch and promote many successful live events over the years including the Greenwich Comedy Festival, Maverick Festival (2013/14/15/16/17) and the London Remixed Festival (2014/15/16/17), as well as securing a Later…with Jools TV performance for US artist Chastity Brown. Linda Fahey has been working as a music industry professional in the US for the last 17 years. She spent time as Associate Producer for the long-running public radio show ‘A Prairie Home Companion’ and at Red House Records, the independent record label based in St. Paul, MN, before joining up with Folk Alley. As Folk Alley’s Senior Director of Content, she serves as music director for the service’s 24-7 internet radio stream; curator/editor for the In Folkus Blog; and producer for the weekly nationally syndicated radio show and for Folk Alley Sessions – Folk Alley’s in-studio video series and podcast. She is also an occasional contributor to NPRMusic.org and has served on the Board of Directors for Folk Alliance International as well other local arts organizations in Saranac Lake, NY where she resides. In addition to her work at Folk Alley, she currently books a concert series at BluSeed Studios, an intimate venue and community arts center in Saranac Lake.
Philadelphia Folk Song Society – Philadelphia, PA, USA
Justin, a perpetual arts & culture junkie, began at the Philadelphia Folksong Society, presenters of the Philadelphia Folk Festival, over a decade ago before leaving to take a job with a recording studio in Texas. Justin returned to Philadelphia, as culturally promiscuous as ever, working with the Pennsylvania Ballet, Philadelphia Film Festival, FringeArts, and even with a pit stop as Director of Business Development for a law firm, before returning to the Philadelphia Folksong Society as Executive Director in 2015. It didn’t feel as if he was taking a new job – it felt as if he’d come home. Following an incredibly well received “Newfoundsongs of Newfoundland” workshop Justin presented at the 2017 Philadelphia Folk Festival, he is looking forward to continuing to introduce his members and patrons to NL’s rich musical soundscape.

Nozstock: The Hidden Valley Festival – Herefordshire, West Midlands, UK
Robert is one of the creative producers of Nozstock, working with his sister Ella and father Peter ‘Noz’ on the founding and building of Nozstock The Hidden Valley. The festival celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2018 and hosts 12 stages of multi -genre live and electronic music and arts.
Together the family curate an event to meet all tastes, from experimental family programming, seasoned comedians on the Edinburgh Festival circuit, emerging talent such as Jake Bugg and Two Door Cinema Club, to established acts like De La Soul and Seasick Steve. Robert’s eye is firmly focused on skilled, quality music, across multiple genres and he has a distinctive vision for Nozstock, that encompasses theatrical wow-factor with burgeoning ability. The bar is set high. Outside of his programming responsibilities, he has also performed on stage as a bassist, so has a true understanding of the musician’s experience as well as the trials of being a festival booker.

Philadelphia Folk Festival – Doylestown, PA, USA
Lisa is a vibrant and dynamic individual with a passion for great music who serves as the Festival Director and Artistic Director for the world renowned Philadelphia Folk Festival. The 57th annual event is slated for August 16-19 and will feature approximately 100 acts on eight stages and will welcome upwards of 35,000 patrons. Known to showcase superstars and rising stars alike, the Philadelphia Folk Festival is the seminal music event of the summer.
With a love for nonprofit service and leadership, Lisa also serves as the Vice President for the Board of Folk Alliance International and was the president of the Philadelphia Folksong Society for more than eight years. She also loves to use her strategic marketing and branding skills to consult with artists to position them for career growth.
Not content to always be behind the scenes, Lisa has also been a member of the Savoy Opera Company performing on stage at the famed Academy of Music in Philadelphia.

Summerfest – Milwaukee, WI, USA
David Silbaugh is best known as a Talent Buyer for Summerfest, “The World’s Largest Music Festival”, in Milwaukee, WI. The 11 day festival books over 800 artists in nearly all genres, featuring international headlining artists as well as emerging artists. He also produces the noted Emerging Artists Series for the festival. Silbaugh is also currently serving as an A&R Consultant for GMR Marketing, having previously spent 4 years in that role for Banshee Music under the GMR Marketing umbrella. Banshee Music was a “sonic branding” agency, creating custom music for sports teams, sporting events, and brands. With a diverse background in music and the music business, David is also a voting member of The Recording Academy (GRAMMYs) and currently serves on The Recording Academy Advocacy Committee (Midwest), the Board of Directors for Sing Me A Story, and the Advisory Board for FestForums.

Heidi Baird is the Founder and Artistic Director of the Larlee Creek Hullabaloo music festival. The Larlee Creek Hullabaloo is a not-for-profit organization run by local volunteers. The five-day multi-genre festival has a strong commitment to local and East Coast artists who make up the majority of their programming, with a dash of national and international acts. The 2018 Hullabaloo festival will take place from August 8-12.

Hailing from St. John’s, Newfoundland, Steve is a formally trained musician having studied Classical Music at Memorial University (NL) and Jazz studies at St. Francis Xavier University (NS). Steve joined Paquin Artists Agency in 2006 to oversee North American Performing Arts and festivals as well as the development of some of the finest singer-songwriters, world and roots artists from around the world.
P.E.I. Mutual Festival of Small Halls – Charlottetown, PEI
Jennifer Campbell is the Executive Director of Small Halls Inc., a not for profit in PEI. Small Halls Inc. produces The PEI Mutual Festival of Small Halls as well as Fall Halls. Both festivals are built around the concept of shining a spotlight on small rural communities across PEI.
The Festival of Small Halls is now a fourteen-day, traditional music, dance, workshop and storytelling festival held in June of each year. In 2017, the Festival presented over 50 events in 45 venues in 40 communities across Prince Edward Island.
Fall Halls is a multi-genre music festival highlighting authentic talent, tastes and traditions in the fall season on PEI.

Troy Greencorn is the founding Artistic Director of the Stan Rogers Folk Festival, now into its 22nd year. “Stanfest”, as it has come to be known, is an international songwriter’s festival that presents over 40 accomplished songwriters/acts from a wide range of genres. The event, hosted in Canso, Nova Scotia is a 4 day, 5 stage festival. Troy is also the Creative Director of the deCoste Performing Arts Centre in Pictou, Nova Scotia, a 400 seat facility that presents 100+ events each year. The deCoste’s presents a rich mix of shows, predominantly music, but also including dance, theatre, comedy, film and variety.

The Kingsville Folk Music Festival, celebrating its 5th anniversary August 10-12, 2018, was founded by John and Michele. The Laws are award-winning folk-grass singer songwriters who settled in southwestern Ontario after 17 years touring throughout North America and Australia. Natalie is a Music Supervisor at instinct entertainment in Toronto. She has supervised and coordinated music for a number of television series such as Good Witch (Hallmark Channel), Degrassi: Next Class (Netflix/Family Channel), and films such as Love Jacked, On My Way Out, Cool Daddy, & We Forgot To Break Up.
In addition to supervising, Natalie also provides creative consultation and licensing support for SOCAN, Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame (CSHF), Ontario Media Development Corporation (OMDC) and the newly opened National Music Centre in Calgary.
A graduate from the RTA School of Media at Ryerson University with a specialization in audio production and digital media, Natalie is a self-professed media junkie with a deep love for all things music/television/film.

Lunenburg Folk Harbour Festival – Lunenburg, NS
The Lunenburg Folk Harbour Society will be celebrating its 33rd annual Lunenburg Folk Harbour Festival (August 9 – 12, 2018) and also programs fall, spring and summer Concert Series in Lunenburg. Folk Harbour presents folk, traditional, blues, singer-songwriters, world and gospel featuring local, national, and international acts.
Louis is an Executive Staff Officer of the Nova Scotia Teachers Union with responsibility for research, and governance and policy. He has volunteered for the Lunenburg Folk Harbour Society in many roles since 2001. Louis is a long-serving member of the Program Committee, having worked on the Committee since the fall of 2003 and has chaired the committee for what will soon be nine festivals. Currently, Louis is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Lunenburg Folk Harbour Society.
Pop Montreal – Montreal, QC
Daniel Seligman has been active in the Montreal music scene since 2000. He has managed Stars, The Unicorns and Socalled. In 2002 Seligman started POP Montreal and remains the festival’s creative director. In 15 years the fest has worked with such acts as Yellowman, Patti Smith, Arcade Fire and Malajube. Most recently, he co-founded the record label Club Roll Music. In 2013 Club Roll released records by AroarA, Jef Barbara, Karneef and in 2015 Club Roll released the new record by Katie Moore.
Mariposa Folk Festival – Orillia, ON
Liz Scott is Artistic Director at the iconic Mariposa Folk Festival, taking place every July in Orillia, Ontario. In its 57th year, the festival’s mandate is the “preservation of folk art in Canada through song, story, dance and crafts.” Liz is also a concert promoter, house concert presenter, tour manager, and agent at her home-based business, Serendipitous Music. She has been a Juno judge, Folk Alliance mentor, and sits on the Folk Music Ontario board of directors. The Mariposa Folk Festival 2018 takes place July 6-8.
Festival of Small Halls Ontario / Ottawa Bluesfest/ CityFolk – Ottawa, ON
Kelly Symes is the General Manager of the Ontario Festival of Small Halls. The festival presents over 30 concerts in rural community halls across Eastern Ontario for 12 days in September. Building off the success of the fall festival, this December the organization will produce a series of Hall-iday concerts featuring artists from the Atlantic provinces. In addition to Small Halls, Kelly also oversees the local program for both Ottawa Bluesfest (July 5-15, 2018) and Ottawa CityFolk Festival (September 12-16, 2018).
New England Celtic Arts – East Dixfield, ME, USA
Phill McIntyre is director of New England Celtic Arts in South Carthage Maine. Over the past 15 years he has developed a network soft seat venues and house concerts opportunities for touring artists already traveling through Maine and New England to fill in the midweek dates. Newfoundland artists are no strangers to Phill’s efforts in Maine.
Although Phill has retired from full time presenting he is still working with many venues and festivals in the New England region and will host over 90 events this year predominantly with East Coast musicians. He is very interested in talking with any artists who are willing to recognize the potential of mid-week concerts.
